DIY Foral Hoops

Here’s another quick & easy DIY party decor tutorial. I made these three floral hoops for our gender reveal party and hung them above the dessert table. The size and number of hoops is easy to customize so you can make this display as small or as large as you’d like!

I love this for any spring events coming up, baby & bridal showers, little girl’s birthday parties, even for Easter!

Materials:

Christmas Sangria

We had a little holiday get together the other weekend and whipped up this festive drink…it’s an easy way to add some extra Christmas cheer to your party!

We used a few different recipes found on Pinterest to concoct this one, then put a skewer of cranberries in each glass.

  • 1 cup sparkling apple cider
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Engagement Pictures: Whitney + Todd

Whitney (my sister-in-law) and her fiance, Todd got engaged in August and this past week I got to shoot their engagement pictures and help throw an engagement party for them! Having shot my sister and her fiance’s engagement pictures in San Francisco a few days before, I felt slightly more prepared for this shoot, although again, I made them get on Pinterest to familiarize themselves with some “couple poses.” However, instead of trying to find shade, like in the last shoot, this time we were literally chasing the sun.

Engagement Pictures: Katie + Lenny

My sister and sister-in-law are both getting married next year and I got the pleasure to shoot both of their engagement pictures (in one week!) This was my first time shooting engagement pictures, or really anyone formally besides Tim, Wyatt and I. Wyatt’s first birthday was something I started thinking about a few months in advance, I was super excited about it and am crazy about party planning.
