How We Told the Kids About Baby #3

0

When I was pregnant with Reese we found out just before Wyatt turned two, so we told him right away because he was too young to really get it. I actually had Wyatt bring Tim the pregnancy test to tell him.

But this time around, Wyatt is a little over 4, already had a sibling, so he definitely understands what having another baby means. Reese is still too young to get it.

My Go-To “Bow”tique

When I want a certain color bow the first place I look is Amy Boutique. For everyday bows, I gravitate towards linen. Their bows are made with beautiful fabrics & knots and the price is right. There is a large selection so generally I find a few at one time that I want to order. They also have a lot of options as far as bow size, style & finish (nylon headband, even different colors for different skin colors, clip, etc.) Amy Boutique also has masks in all their cute…

Breastfeeding Experience & Weaning

Breastfeeding both of my children had been positive experiences. But also countless hours of staring into the tiny face of a baby that I was able to connect & bond with through this experience. I was not a mom who loved breastfeeding (I also didn’t hate it), it didn’t feel super magical to me like some moms talk about, but overall it felt…

After our 18 month appointment at 20 months (whoops), we decided it was time for Wyatt’s paci (pacifier) to go. He wasn’t using it all day, just primarily for naps and bedtime, but also during the day when he was tired, grumpy, or we needed a quick fix for whatever problem he had. We noticed it had become a habit more than anything, and Wyatt had started requesting it by…

Making a Last Minute Easter Basket

I’m so excited to celebrate Easter with Wyatt this year. He’s now a year an a half so he’ll be much more into things like an egg hunt or digging through an Easter basket. In our house growing up we had an egg and basket hunt around the first floor of the house, usually because it was either too cold outside or there was snow (that’s New England…

3 Simple and Healthy Smoothies

0

Wyatt loves a good smoothie and it’s an easy way for me to sneak even more veggies into his diet. He’s been drinking smoothies since before he was one…my husband makes one every morning and Wyatt always wants to try it. HOWEVER, his cup drinking skills still aren’t super, and if we do give him a cup we have to watch him like a hawk. In the past, we’ve tried putting smoothies into our various bottles and sippy cups, but they were either too thick, or the cleaning process would be too arduous. Enter the Infantino Squeeze Station
